Molly convinces Miss Quiver to have her rent the flat and says she's gonna make it an office of some kind. Something is getting set up here and I think you readers know what it is;)
Back from SweSAT. Went about as good as I expected it (that is to say not very good, I kind of suck at math:P). Now, dear readers, we will return to a more weekly updating schedule. We're almost done with Spark in the Deep and I'm gonna start updating the other webcomics as well.
One of them, Idfestation, is gonna update slightly different for a while as I'm gonna add a new first chapter to that one, as I feel like that comic didn't start quite the way it was meant to:P But you'll see what I'm talking about when we get there, those of you still reading Idfestation.
Overall it just feel so good to be updating again. It has never felt like a better time to be a bad guy–uh–I mean a bad webcomicker. Sorry. Still perked after that Scarface paraphrasing I did on Bravo's thread about BWW^^
Also, I forgot to mention for those who haven't read my last forum thread or the latest change in my profile bio. I've made the final decision to keep the setting of this comic, and the other ones I got now, on earth. All taking place on and around a nation of islands outside of northwest Africa called the Isles of Helix. I've made this final change established through the monolouge text on pages here and there throughout the comic. And, yeah, I know I've said and done it before and you all are probably tired to the back teeth of it by now. Trust me, I'm tired of it as well at this point. So this will be the last time I do this because I simply don't have it in me anymore to change it again. I just wanna keep going from here on out, so that's what I'm gonna do from now on.
I am indeed a fan of Lewis Carrol's Alice books, both which I own in a collected edition. And yeah, consciously or not, there are shades of Wonderland to this setting. Molly and her foster dad Patric Addis, who's a car repairman, being shades of the Walrus and the Carpenter. The killer rabbit being a shade of the white rabbit and so on. Miss Quiver may not be the Dodo to propose a Caucus Race, involving other birds, where everyone wins, but she will always be the Dodo to propose a rental race involving all her tenants where everyone pays😄
