NSWL: Cast of Characters

This comic is COMING SOON! Shortly after I end the “Leftovers” updates, NSWL comics will be posted Tuesdays and Thursdays.
The comics to be posted were done as a submission to King Features circa 2006. I was rejected as the artist (although they liked my art, they wanted a “manga” style). It is now syndicated as “My Cage” by Ed Power and Melissa DeJesus. Check it out, it's hilarious!

What an intriguing bunch! I absolutely love those! And perhaps that's an odd thing to say, but Polopony is HOT! ;) Great work, Dawn! You're an AWESOME artist! The only question is, how will I find the time to dig through Your vast archives if You update at such a pace and have several comics running simultaneously :) But I will. They're definitely worth it :)

thanks slimredninja, but he didn't choose- the syndicate wanted a "manga" style and together they picked this artist. I think it's fine.. simple, cartoony... but it's VERY vaguely what I consider "manga"...

Ersatz: yes he does! Actually, I did this prior to Z&F, so maybe you could say that I took inspiration from Ed's max terrier. heh. P.S. anyone think Lucy is reminiscent of another past character of mine???

heh, thanks man! Only a couple comics to post here... as the writer hooked up with a different artist in the end. but stay tuned, he's a funny guy!
