Ah, this one. I remember I wanted to draw Lewis Black in a comic for ANY reason I could think of. I remember hearing one of his jokes (Christmas Halftime), and thinking, “yeah, that's totally true”.
I thought about it further, and realized in Canada (where I reside), Thanksgiving is a month EARLIER than in America. I found this rather amusing that the joke still held truth.
Also, note I fucked around with PNG transparency… I'm not particularly proud of this, but I did this often in the first few comics… I don't remember when I stop, but I'll stumble upon it.
