Otakunadians Whatever - 37 - Marco's Midsummer Blues 02

Yeah, while I've been drawing this comic, I've been constantly reminding myself why I draw this comic in the first place.
It's not for the pageviews, It's not for brilliant writing, and it's certainly not to make something Amazing.
I've
continued to draw this series as an excercise. I needed an excuse to
draw characters and backgrounds. My digital editing (coloring and inking
and shading) is far from spectacular, but I feel my sketchwork needs
constant work. Many of my drawing mistakes end up in the comic even
after I've spotted them. If you find any, good for you, I'm not changing
them. Like I said, this series is just to keep me drawing.
So
far, looking back at my earlier works, this comic is doing it's job, and
it will continue to do so for a long time. If I throw in
experimentation with art styles, or editing procedures, it will do it's
job better, even if the end product suffers. Take for example, this
comic, I discovered how complicated panel one alone is to edit, but I
like how the end result looks.
