The general rails at CC. It seems Pinky and her compatriots might somehow come out on top afterall, even though everything has turned to crap.
Commentary: I went back to my old style of using lighting and colour. I wonder why I ever stopped doing this? I also got fed up with colouring on my portable tablet and got off my lazy bum and finished it off on my Cintiq instead! I liked doing that so much better. Drawing on the tablet is great and even colouring is cool too but the big size of the contiq just gives me so much more room and freedom! It's way better for comic colouring when you're dealing with all the damn panels.
Ah, while I did enjoy the previous page, the return to the sumptuous Ozoneocean style is appreciated. Hm...so what did CC do, exactly, with her sneaky sabotage? It seems as though it didn't work (eeeeeggsellent)
Hmm . . . so there will be repercussions over this, but Pinky won't be taking too much heat for it. But the Command-Mecha's still out there, is someone going to propose a "rescue mission?"
The lighting effects definitely contribute to the overall atmosphere and the contrast of the opening panel highlights that even more. I've only just noticed you switched the font!
Great drama. Wow, the textures here with the lighting and shadow. A feast for the eyes. But considering the date today, I can't fully believe this is a real update! You're tricking us!
