Alright, I gotta confess. This is an idea that crossed my mind as a kid, and I nearly tricked a cousin into it.
Of course that doesn't mean these two wouldn't do it, it's just that we don't really have a hive in our front yard and they're a tad young to come up with the idea yet, I'd give them time. ;)

I used to convince my little cousin to do stuff like that... once we launched a snake with a bottle rocket and after the explosion part of the snake fell on my grandmas neighbor as she was walking to her car
