I've darkened the lettering tho it still looks a little hard to read.Need to work on my penmanship:)The last comment Sloan makes on this page refers to the rivalry back then between the sheep and cattle herders.Sheep eat the grass to the root which doesn't allow it to grow back.This ticked off the cattle ranchers because when the cattle came around to graze all they found was dirt.Sloan is therefore an ex-cattlehand.

What were you using before gimp? Lettering aid is a drafting stencil. If you Google it you'll get what I mean.

Free hand with help of Ames guide.I just downloaded gimp but haven't had time to study it.Good to know it has a lettering aid.

Do you free hand or use a lettering aid? Jonny is done with a lettering aid Random Street Theater is done in word with text boxes or with the lettering tool in gimp if I mess something up.
