THE END.
(Of this Devil's Night tale, anyway. But perhaps not the end of the boys' adventures.)
'The Assemblers' has recently been published. You can get a copy on Amazon… right here
Or get it from the publisher, Transfuzion.
Even if you don't want a hardcopy, maybe you can spread the word (and the Amazon link) to friends/comic fans/sci-fi readers you think might be interested.
Regardless, thanks for reading ‘The Assemblers’ on DrunkDuck!

And after some years, I came back and read it again. Wow again.

So beautiful. I just remembered that this existed and read to the end.

I get the feeling that this End is just the beginning...

Just found and read your comic- amazing stuff! Story wise, It left me with this sense of foreboding and pity for this world in the future. Art wise, the details are incredible. Wow!

Yeah Shade... Neuman was an inspiration for Bardo. I wanted a slightly more clever looking, punked out Neuman, basically... Didnt think anyone would see it though, since the final product strayed quite a bit i thought.

..Alfred E. Neuman? O.o The kid so looks like him here. xD It sort of fortells what's to come. ;3

Amazing work! Congrats on finishing it.

Nice artwork! Just seeing the last page but now I gotta read it.
smbhax at 2:43PM, Oct. 11, 2010
The end? Noooo. I liked the gray shadows on white backgrounds you had at the end here, and the light shading of their hair and Sunday best.
MeHighLow at 4:47AM, Oct. 11, 2010
Kudos on an outstanding work. One of the rare offerings here on DD i followed religiously through every update. Kinda sorry to see it finished and I hope you come through with more comics - great if they are set in the same world, cool if they are something else entirely. I am sure they will be a great read and as visually stunning as the Assemblers.
Trisscar at 10:08AM, Oct. 10, 2010
Yeesh, you'd think people would be awestruck by the boys' work. Then again, the point is to piss them off, I suppose. This has been a very enjoyable comic :)
demontales at 7:04AM, Oct. 10, 2010
I really didn't expect this to end so soon, but congratulations! Was one of the best and most original webcomic I stumbled on this year. It will make a great print.
CoyoteLongshot at 7:59PM, Oct. 9, 2010
Congrats on finishing it! Your comic is of a standard of both art and writing that's rarely seen in webcomics, and reading through it was a pleasure. I may be interested in buying it too, so give us an update when the hard copy is out!
Ochitsukanai at 4:27PM, Oct. 9, 2010
I'm so glad to have read this and so unhappy it's over! Thanks so much for this.

Urza... absolutely! And thanks!
Artificer Urza at 1:01PM, Oct. 9, 2010
All good things must come to an end. I don't suppose you can send me a note when it is available? As I have mentioned, I would love to purchase a hard copy.
artdude2002 at 12:31PM, Oct. 9, 2010
Outstanding story and artwork. Powerful ending, too.
JillyFoo at 11:50AM, Oct. 9, 2010
The end. ;_; Oh wells. I hope to see you continue with the Rats on a sinking ship story if you are still interested in working on it.
alejkhan at 10:52AM, Oct. 9, 2010
This was amazing! What a fabulous ending that is also just the beginning. Thanks so much for sharing this great story.

I think Shiyu would be the first to drop out if things get too big.
