Vickie: Tropes can be a blessing and a curse. The scary thing about being TOO different is making something the audience cannot get into at all! Especially with the sort of curve the story takes at the end and then you no longer have the characters you just read about for 20 pages. Sometimes you have to take risks for the betterment of the full story though. ^_^
Jamie: I'm reminded of Bill and Ted when they fall for ever to hell now :)
