A Genie is a small rock grinding machine a lot of rockhounds use at home.

This weekend, November 7-9, is the rock & mineral show co-hosted by my club at the Puyallup Fairgrounds (Washington state).

My boys are both rock nuts, and they each have their own rock grinder. Of course, it's the Wal-Mart special being as a retired Military guy such as myself can't afford one of those really cool ones, but the kids are happy.
