Dead. A few things don't work though; David never introduced himself, so how does the mother know his name, and also, Jenny (if she was there) doesn't know David either, so how could she possibly guess who's coming in?

Great start, kid! The only thing I can really find wrong with this is that the arrangement of the panels is somewhat confusing. It's a genuine relief to see that some newbies actually do their homework before starting on a sprite comic, instead of just jumping right into it and raping everyone's eyes. But if you DO need any help, feel free to drop me a line.
