@Kou - If it gives you more than 800 bucks worth of enjoyment, that's excellent (and extra excellent if it didn't cost YOU 800!)...wow, 800...that's extreme. You're right, though...he likely won't get a buyer for that much anyway.

i saw some guy, who was possibly crazier than me, try to sell it for $800. Doubt he sold it though. The thing is, even if i COULD sell my copy of it for that much, i won't. The game is a god damn masterpiece and i have yet to see it's equal.

@bravo - I did make an offer on a dvd I was looking for...the counteroffer was like 30 bucks. Much cheaper than the thing was selling for elsewhere...but 30 bucks for a mediocre 80's movie??? I'm proud to say i didn't pay it. I gotta comb through my collection, see if I can get in on the selling end of this, now that you mention it...

Then there's "can I live without this?" because you need the money. Many eBay sales are based on a false assumption of scarcity. So the unwary buy based on that and some of us sell based on that and reap the rewards of supplying the gullible with what they covet and are willing to pay way too much for.

Suikoden 2 for the PS1, at least $300 (that's not a joke, it really goes for that much on Ebay, and to think i got it at Game x Change as a kid for 30 or 40)

Ugh... getting rid of something you find out later to be valuable. I recently donated a 'broken, non-tune-able' mini-grand piano to a flower shop. They got offered $1500 for it..... Grrrrrr! Feel your Pain, TK...
