I hope you are following the references to previous events. Seiko's friend Tucker Nash was officially taken off of the case due to his theories, but he continues working on it as a favor to Seiko and in memory of her family. (For more about Detective Nash, refer to chapter 21.) The fact that Violet is helping him, however, is a new development.

Off Hours, the collaborative project I somehow got included in, was featured yesterday! So if you haven't read it, go now. Leave comments. – Wait! leave me a comment here first. Then go over there. ;-)

LanceDanger: Violet's point hit closer to home than she intended. ;-)

Peipei: She's not thinking that far back. Oddly, though, she hasn't connected the name to the recent court case either.

amanda: Thanks. Violet is a little sheltered but not too bad. (She will always be loathed as the “successful” daughter. Sort of the black sheep of the family – or the white crow or something.)

Tantz: She is slightly deeper than she appears. ;-)
