The involvement of the church in the going ons of Occupied Athens is vast and varied. There was a fierce and radical segregation of the clergy, with the big staggering majority of them being resistant to the nazis in various ways, usually hiding Greek-Jews and covering for the people and Resistance, often at the expense of their own lives or safety. Some even took up arms and joined the Resistance actively.

Like in all social groups, some went turncoat.

We will be meeting all kinds in WM. :)
