I agree that he is sympathetic despite his crimes. Hard not to feel sorry for any person in this desperate situation

i like that you still manage to make him sympathetic. At least i feel that way. Maybe i'm a bit softer these days but though he does seem very guilty of what he's accused of, i don't look forward to seeing him executed.

Thank you! I intended not to portray him in a villainous moustache twisting way. In any case he would not behave like that in this situation. Also, the account of this thing states clearly he was begging for a second chance. I'm glad you said that!!
