On the question of visibility: What if the fashion show just becomes a regular comic? It would require an owner, who downloads the images and just posts them as updates to the comic with minimal commentary. It would require some work, but not very much. That would make the images more accessible to the members who don't know where to dig for the original threads. I would volunteer to start that project, but my presence here can be sporadic at times.
