I unfortunely never got to know Lonnehart. But as a fellow Duckling, as a fellow artist and as a fellow human being, I salute him regardless, and I will give his legacy a read in his memory(Y) I take great comfort and great pride in the fact that I am networking and expressing on a site that has the RARE courtesy to commemorate its lost members:)

Thank you for the tribute. I've lost many internet friends in the last couple years. People whom I only hear from only every month or two and suddenly realize the months have been too many, so I looked into it and discovered they had left not just an internet community but life itself. I think we should all remember that our presence is felt further than we know, and our loss will be too.

Thank you so much for celebrating the beautiful legacy that Lonnehart left us. Even though I never interacted with or knew him, I still feel the loss of someone so robust and creative. Recently, I've had a lot of tense stretches, with people I love in hospital, and it seems like this world becomes more of a struggle just to exist in. I am very glad that you have commemorated the beauty that this creator brought to the world, and the happy memory of being with him. I hope that, if I should ever disappear one day, that is what will be done with my creations. Be well, and thank you again for this small but crucially important act. If only more people would be so kind.
