I love this cover. It is expressive and therefore it reminds me of expressionist works... I can see similarities to Egon Schiele in it, but i do love Schiele so much, so it may be that. Still, objectively, it is a great cover. Are you perchance influenced by expressionism/symbolism styles in painting?

The first thing I saw was "wishing you peace" and then I saw the card and my eyes wandered over to her eyes. Very atmospheric. Gonna have to five this...

'post-watchmen dystopian'? ?? lol its refreshing to know someone LIKES their own work, most people I know are way too self-loathing 0_0 I like the mixed media, the card is a nice touch. And I do find it creepy too, but the whole story has a creepy touch :S I cant believe you're meeting this guy!! 0_0 Hes one of my favorite modern writers, you are way too lucky!!

thanks guys. lol @ jonko. but I don't think I'm gonna separate this into chapters... it's just a one-shot sort of comic. UsedBooks: yeah, you might notice the ironic contrast between the title and the story elsewhere... hehe. thanks for les comments... perchance I'll do another page today.

Yeah, I don't think I'd put it up in my bedroom, it's very creepy (but then again it's a good thing because it means you painted a really powerful picture). It is really cool looking though, maybe it could be the cover for chapter 2?

Oh my. This is a much darker cover. The first one is sort of whimsical and upbeat, but this one contains such a lovely contrast between the imagery and the title. (Just look at that dismal expression! "Optimist?" Lol)
