P.S. Reading the whole back catalog at this point is pretty daunting. This series doesn't need to be read from the beginning, though. The characters are all named in the top banner; that's all one needs to read each issue (or each page even). Of course, knowing the whole history gives a more dimensional experience I s'pose...

Yeah, Rocky thought he was retired, and we all know how that turned out! Really good story, Banes! I haven't been able to go back and read all of your back-issues yet (just a few of the really early ones), but this is one of my faves so far. Penelope's a pretty interesting character.

@PPP - I waffled on that one...and had two versions of the final panel. But it turned out that after a short stay in the hospital, he recovered to continue smoking and eating BBQ into his 90's...as I went for the super-duper happy ending. Thanks for noticing the old fella, PPP! :D
