I love that stuff! Very stylised 😁 love the way the back and white gangsters get shot. I think the main thing about film noir that no one ever mentions is that a lot of those people had direct experience of war. They knew what real death was like.

I've been watching a lot of old film noir recently, and most of the people who get shot slump forward. They clutch the area they were shot in and fall forward, or slump forward in the position they were shot in. In some cases they stumble backwards, but not initially.
