It's perfectly fine with me. Try doing the usual tricks: ctrl+F5, clearing cookies, try a different browser, etc.

Strange, I opened chrome as well and tried it, didn't work. For some reason chrome can't read the page right. I also tried it on Safari and the same thing happened, It works fine on Opera as well as Internet Explorer and Firefox.

It's probably not the browsers fault as much as it is the coding on the comic.

You should probably PQ the artist about this.

No, it's the browser's fault. Chrome was based on Safari, so that's a shit lineage right there. Sorry for those who like those two browsers but the fact is that they have a history of not working well with websites. When a later model browsers messes up displaying websites it's most definitely the browser at fault. -website makers canot predict how futyre browsers will have trouble with them. The best most designers do is go for the two biggest models and make sure it works right on them: Internet Explorer and Firefox.

IE8? If not update to IE8, or get Opera.

The failure of the quotes indicates as much, doesn't it? ;)

The thing is that Safari and browsers like Chrome that are based on it always have trouble displaying various things. It could be as simple as some lines of codes that it doesn't know how to deal with properly, so it doesn't.
Probably javascript trouble if it can't do quotes properly. :)

They did make a big deal out of Chrome's new javascript rendering engine. I guess it fails at some things. Ah well, not entirely surprising… They do call it a “beta” version program afterall.

Out of all browsers I've used, Firefox appears handle the widest amount of web pages with no troubles, although all browsers run into problems occasionally.

Because the page uses specific coding, it's different to the other DD pages. Whoever wrote it couldn't predict that it wouldn't work with one browser, because it worked with the others.

actually, never mind, it works now. I guess it was the laptop that it didn't work on.

Yeah I've personally always had several problems with Safari, actually including the fact that one day it decided to not let me log into my school's internet service. The main reason that I switched to Firefox was problems like that. None of my friends seem to have problems with the browser though…
