Hello all!

My name is Jacob Warrenfeltz, and my wife and I are working on our webcomic Softshell, which I thought would be a fun story. My wife grew up in a small mid-atlantic beach town, and is always telling me intersting stories about it. We thought it might make a great backstory for a murder mystery. Actually, the further into this we get, the more we think that maybe the backstory is really the main story, and the murders are just part of the setting.

Anyway, we're just a couple of working class stiffs having a good time putting out our weekly webcomic.

I do mostly print comics (Plastic Farm, The Alberic Heresies, Slambang, Potlatch, Red Chapel) and am a member of the D.C. Conspiracy Group, a Washington DC area indy comics group. We've published 4 collaborative projects so far. Anyway, I just posted the first 4 pages for the webcomic, I'll add another 5 in the next day or two. Look for updates every Saturday if you're interested.

Hey, thanks Priest! I like your strip a lot. I think once Softshell is done I want to try my hand at a strip. I think it's more liberating of a format. I even have a funny setting and characters in mind. Well, only 31 pages more to go in Softshell, so maybe in 6 months I'll be ready for that!
