I thought I'd tell you about a project one of my friends is doing! She will need some help.

She's doing a fan movie (using flash) for Pirates of the Caribbean. I'm not exactly sure where it fits into the storyline, but I think it follows what will be the third one. Seems quite a good storyline, especially since she wrote it herself!
She needs some people to join her project. She's got some animating skills, but she'll need people to help her with that. She'll need screenplay proofreaders, voiceactors, musicians, and just general help and support.

She's putting a lot of effort into this, and I think it could turn out really well!
She hasn't got much interest yet, but I really do think it will be worthwhile. I'm volunteering as a proofreader and as a voice actor, but I'm Australian, so that could be a little weird. Plus I'm female. So unless I put on a british or american accent, or be a very young male, i'm not going to be very useful lol.
There are quite a few male characters, but also quite a few female characters, and she's just starting to think about auditions.

I just thought that this forum might be the place to ask for that sort of help.

I would love to do some kind of voiceacting. If you can, sign me up. I would love to do it. I am American so if you can fit it anywhere in there, it would be an awesome experience.

They're really nice people there and very talented. All you need to do is post on the forums. I'd agree to help, but I live in a thin-walled Uni flat at the moment, so can't really do VA work, though I have done it in the past. Well, that and despite my English accent I don't recall POTC being particularly full of Northern English characters ^_^;

^ wasn't full of aussies either. In real life, pirates could have british accents, from anywhere in britain!

They're not professionals. They're all amateurs on there. I believe only one or two have ever even managed to become pro VAs. Haha, I doubt I'd have been involved with them if they were pros! I'm not that great!
