I've started posting in the forums like two or three days ago. I'm also already addicted, kind of. Anyways, I've failed to properly introduce myself, so here it is.

I'm Rutger, obviously, 23 yrs old, and a full-time cameraman for the local network in Tilburg, the Netherlands. I enjoy horses, sunsets and long walks…wait, no I don't.
I do like comics, movies, all kinds of music, going to concerts and hanging with friends in general. And sunsets. And puzzles. And maybe you're the last piece. *gag*

So anyways, I've been around DD for a while, I've tried starting two comics whch both failed, and now I'm on my third which is doing pretty well (106th in Comic Strip and slowly rising), considering it's a sprite about a medievil king. I try to update daily, which so far I've managed to keep up with, even though it cost me some precious hours of sleep. And I love sleep, so very very much. Totally worth it though.

Anyways, that's me, nice to meat you!

Hey, Rutger. I remember you, from the IRC.

I was only there for one day, though…

Hi, Rutger.
I'm Lynn, former forum junkie. I stay mostly just to welcomin' people…but, I still venture out occassionally. (I tend to spend too much time thread hoppin'.) I have a ton of friends in the “news” trade, hard row that is. I live in Dallas, Texas…USA and am a full-time writer. I'm a general pop-cultury fan myself only I do enjoy riding horses and my “stupid day job” is giving horse drawn carriage tours of our downtown historical district.

Good luck with the comic, I'm not much into Sprites myself, but a lot of people are. Daily updates are hard, we were just talkin' about that in another thread…you are a braver man than I…but since I'm a chick…guess that's not really helpful. Welcome to Drunk Duck regardless.

Chicks can be brave! I've seen it happen! Hell, I'm not brave enough to enter a sale at some warehouse.

Yup, daily updates are hard. But so far I've managed to keep up with it, and I'm not planning to let it slip. Besides, since I discovered the forums I'm on DD constantly anyways. It might be getting close to an obsession or something…I might need professional help.

Anywho, thansk for the welcome!

Hell yes I'm loving it. Through some kind of miracle my comic is pretty much skyrocketing, considering it's a sprite and it's only got 8 pages to show, plus I'm addicted to the forums.

You can't not love it!

Sweaty dangly bits + heroic deeds = yeah, still don't want to be near 'em.

They don't necessarily have to be sweaty though…

I dunno - doesn't a codpiece generally guarantee sweat? Can't say I know firsthand, you see.

It all dependson the fabric. You see, if you have a breathing fabric, there will be no sweat. Don't use synthetics though, they'll soak you right down. That's just nasty,

Thanks Rutger - you've helped me widen my dating pool =)
