Pretty much the same here. I can't stand how most people dancing. Grinding and humping someone on the dance floor to bad R&B does not constitute dancing.

If there's ska or punk rock or even ( god forbid I say it ) hardcore playing I might get into the moshpit or start skanking, but I usually prefer to hang in back at the show and just listen. Especially if I can't get into the crowd. It's incredibly uncomfortable to be dancing the edge with a couple fat kids in motley crue shirts and scowls on their faces, staring at you. It's like they demand that you share in their low self-esteem and bad self-image and they're trying to use brain waves to force it into your head.

Actually, shit dancing makes me a little depressed. That includes watching trippy hippies making shapes, trying to be all tribal, and drunken women grooving with each other. I melt at the awfulness sometimes.
If it was sexy, that'd be different, but it's usually not.

Though conversely, no matter what it looks like from the outside, it can still feel good to do, I understand that. But I still prefer to see good dancing and I'd love to be able to do it too. :)

I don't care what anybody says, Dance Dance Revolution is the shit.

One time a girl asked me to dance, but she looked all confused when i started hopping up and down, stomping down randomly in front, behind, and either side of me. I guess she just didn't know how to dance.

Also this video tickled me, because I love the Charleston and Daft Punk. There was a Charleston/Daft Punk video on youtube before, but I think this one is ten times better.
