Alas, greetings my new Drunk Duck friends! :) My name is Derek “Hendercrazy” Henderson. I hail from the far lands of Illinois; smack dab in the middle of the USA! I've been an admirer of comics and comic books as far back as I can remember. Began drawing since the age of four and never looked back. Since that time I've done quite a bit of everything over the years. Including illustration to concepts, comic strips to comic books, company logos to band CD covers, t-shirts to magnets, pin-ups to prints. Everything from novice to pro work.

These days I've reverted back to more simple times with my art. More of a fun hobby aspect than playing the “business and success” side. With that said, I'm a much happier person because of it. :)

I'd heard of Drunk Duck around on a few different forums but I never really checked it out until Nate Piekos put his Atland comic here. I thought it'd be a fun place to put a comic if I ever got back around to it.

Well, I'm now doing the Spazznik comic here… and I look forward to meeting new comic folks and enjoying the comradery here. :D Nice to meet you all in advance!

Subcultured: When I attended ComicCon in 2003 as an inker with BeanLeaf Press and had my pro badge on… I had a TON of folks doing double takes as I was walking around. I'm sure they were thinking I was Kevin Smith… because I get that a lot. Especially when my beard has grown out more than the stuble stage. :P
