My new year's resolution? Hmm. To be able to update my webcomic more often and consistently, I guess. And to do better at school. Yeah. The usual student stuff.

Happy New Year/ Upcoming New Year! (Depending on where you reside, I reckon.)

I'm no good at resolutions. I suppose I should say I'm going to update (read: actually write) my resume, submit for more juried shows, and get back into that self-promotion thing everybody's talking about, maybe research grad schools. Y'know, get my life together.

Instead I'm going to resolve to lose ten pounds, make the best Mardi Gras costume ever, and put out at least four 32 pg. comics in '09.

Holy crap, it's 10:30pm, no wonder I'm starving. Doing stuff in a room with no clocks…

Now I'm gonna go downstairs and eat a huge amount of spaghetti and red wine. That is, if my sauce hasn't cooked down to nothing in the crock pot, haha.

I'm aiming to start make at least enough of a living from gallery work to avoid a job during the school year and to get back to finishing the comics I've started. Maybe I'll toss in trying to actually put a resume together to begin with.

I don't make resolutions because my year's hopes and goals are mostly out of my control. My New Year's *hope* is to finally find a job, ideally one where my degree is of some relevance.

I don't generally make New Year resolutions. I figure if it's something I should do, I should do it now and not at a specific date. It also seems to set myself up for guilt trips should I not be able to fulfill them. :(

A resolution, huh? Get Din Krakatau into print, do a second shorter book and get that one into print too, then do the “300 page challenge” and draw an entire 300 page graphic novel in a month… and have that printed too, assuming it's printworthy.

As for non-comics related stuff? I'm hoping to switch countries, but first I need to meet someone in real life (as opposed to online chats) :)
Ok then, make it: “scrape enough cash for a flight to canada” :D

Happy early new years! I still have 2 and ahalf hours to go.

I have two main resolutions. The first is some how get into FS4 and to create a comic in the top 100s.
