Hey there Select! I'm afraid I'll be decidedly unhelpful in the image sizing issue. But I second the tips/tricks forum. It's a handy place. I muck around in there fairly frequently.

As for the resizing- If you have it, you might want to try using microsoft office picture manager, it has a resizing option.
