Meet, Greet, Show and Sell*
Hellos everyone! Let's get tangled into this...

New aspiring webcomic artists here - well, I am doing the writing and my pal Manda is the artist - he will be vicariously present for now, but he says hi!
When we started setting our whole thing up, I searched out the webs to scour for tips, dos/don'ts and cool webcomic work. Getting to DD didn't take too long. :)
Our comic has a main site, but we like it here so we will be uploading on DD also.
So, hello.
(On a completely unrelated note, I find it strangely amusing that the spellchecker underlines “webcomic”. There, it happened again!)

Welcome to the Duck, MHL (and your pal Manda)! I really like how you draw hands and will have to dig into your archive ^.^

You're lucky to already have a writer. Most people just come here with a terrible script and a prayer and never get anywhere.
Edit: Artist. I meant artist.

Hey buddy, you should be a Russian Cosmonaut, and here's why.

CT, I have to say how fortunate I feel to have such an artist as Manda as my friend to draw the story I write. Anyway, I hear you: I've been browsing DD comics on and off for several weeks now, and I only found a handful I really think are worth following, which I favorited. But there's so many, I think there are still some hidden gems to be unearthed…
Honestly, the quality of the community and these nice forums is what drew me to DD more than the overall quality of featured comics (*crouches and prepares for the sticks and stones*)

Welcome to Drunkduck.
Rather good looking b/w comic, I must say. Curious to see where it goes.

Hey, SplicerParade , thanks man! We need all the readers we can get, we have really come out of nowhere with this, so spread the word! :)
Chernobog, thanks for the welcome. The comic will go towards more color, for one. And Chernobog, that's the name of an old Slavic deity… Got Slavic blood in you? The two of us are from Serbia, Bosnia and Slovenia (yes, three, count 'em, three (Slavic) countries for the two of us) :)

Nay. Not a Slav. My heritage is mixed: one group comes from a land of night and fog while the other apparently builds solar powered submarines with screen windows and favors charging horse mounted cavalry at tanks, if that's any indication.
I picked Chernobog as a name due to a fascination at the time with the Slavic mythology. Chernobog's obscured nature appealed to me.
I'm sure Weave will be good in color too.
