Hello everyone who will read this. :)

I just joined the site yesterday and so far I'm pretty excited to be here. It seems like a fun and supportive place to hang out. I, myself, am not a comic artist. I actually joined to support and assist my boyfriend's comic, which if you're curious you can find linked in my sig. Also, though I don't have a comic of my own, I'm a huge fan of the webcomic medium. The diversity, freedom, and creativity you can find between one artist's work to another's is really wonderful.

About myself. I'm 28, living in Florida, although I still consider home to be Wisconsin. I don't think of myself an artist but my official work title will say that I am a graphic artist. Really what I do is page layout and design, specifically for a newspaper where I manage the advertising artists and design ads.

I'm a huge fan of anime and manga, and I'm not just saying that to be cute. I'm an avid collector with over a thousand titles in my collection. I'm also a big fan of just about any other form and style of animation, plus I've worked as an animator in the past, though nothing fancy.

Another thing I'm a huge fan of is pandas. If I were to start up a comic of my own, you can probably be sure it would either be about, or prominently feature a panda. I'm looking forward to heading out to the San Diego ComicCon in July, not only for the fun of attending the con, but the joy of visiting the San Diego Zoo and getting to lay my eyes on an actual panda in person for the first time in my life. :)

As you can see, I can also be very chatty, but like I said, I'm pretty excited to be here. Since I'm new here and I haven't had a long time to look around yet, please feel free to recommend some comics to me. I'm not sure if it's against the rules to do so in this thread, so if it is, I apologize for asking and private message me a recommendation instead of posting them here. I'd love to see any comics that have animals, or a good use of sarcasm, since I'm partial to either/or, or even a good combination of both. Don't let that limit you though. :)

So just for fun, I did start playing around with a panda story. :)

Only two pages finished so far, but it was a lot of fun to build. And the story is actually an old Chinese legend.

Hi Eunice! Thanks for the welcome, it's always good to meet more people who like pandas. I haven't had a chance to sit down and read your comics, but I took a peek and they look really nice! I'm definitely going to check them out.
