Oh-kay…. don't you just love it when you get a mention somewhere?
Post examples where you got a mention for something. It's always groovy ^__^
-well, not always, but mostly.

——————
My mention:
Top 10 fantasy art models

Woot! -the Michael John Morris thingo is me…
—————–
There are others, but Claudia just sent me that so it's current.

Groovtacular! Quite impressive. :)

I just had to check out number one on that list and shouldn't have been surprised to find Julie Strain there.
A Roll of the Dice now with full-size pages!

John Clyde now with ten times the tacky Hawaiian shirts!

Well done I'll do anything to get on a list, anything. *Holds up Leash and Bone*

I'm only young so I don't get to many mentions but here is one

http://sleepingpirate.blogspot.com/search?q=Marcus

It's a pretty good blog space.
Hopefully I'll get some more as I'm entering works in Top arts and Top Screens in Melbourne Australia with high hopes from my tutors.

So true, Julie's a perennial. Number two just sent me an e-mail :)
She and Claudia are sort of rivals. ^_^
Maybe I'll do some more pics of them both some time.

Well done old chap; richly deserved I'm sure!

Alas, I cannot contribute as in my country it is considered inappropriate to blow one's own trumpet.;)

The DJ of the radio 1 rock show read my username out once when he was talking about some of the people in the chat room. I was pretty proud how he struggled to prononce it and how confused he sounded. Must be cool to be recognised for your talent and and not the difficulty of reading out your name :)

Yes I must congratulate you as well, that pretty big! I was once called a web comic sensation by Lucky Legendary…or something like that. I call him “captain pointy package” at conventions.

Someone
kingofsnake says:

The art is pretty phenomenol here. I've seen a couple of different comics that are done with paint like this one and I always love them.

http://www.drunkduck.com/Dreams_in_Synergy/

Dreams in Synergy is excellent it's like sci-fi horror. The art is not nearly as strong as this, but the letteringis just so much better.

I remember when my name was in the pamphlet for my public school performance of Romeo and Juliet.
I was like, “Woah. That's totally my name right there.”
Since then, not so much.

I remember at Ohayocon two years ago somebody bought one of my mini-comics, and then about a week later I found a blog mentioning it as “cute, but nothing special.” I also had the very first comic I published reviewed at Newsarama, but that one I kinda asked for.

It's nice to be mentioned:)

Especially not when we're having so much trouble with the current crazy wallaby that Oz is.

I got myself onto the featured list here. ( Which I guess might not be a huge. I was excited at the time though.) I've also gotten my name onto the Top Ten Most Depraved Individuals of the Quad Cities list for Last Words. I laughed pretty hard at that one.

I got mentioned because of you… There's a website that lists webcomic cameos and it mentions Wakon Yosai from when Adrian was in Pinky.

I got mentioned in a local paper once.
I went on this big business class trip to compete in speech making (other students went to compete in other things). Apparently for this area that was news worthy. So anyways, I didn't win. But I did run out of cash for breakfast and had to eat a load of candy to stop my growling grumbly tumbly. So I went into a sugar rush. That lasted for hours. I discovered many things about myself.
For example, when I have energy, I get flirty. I hit on every girl on that trip. There's a funny jelly bean story in there. I also got hair tips from a Goth kid.
Anyways, about the mention. So they took my picture for the paper, but they had to doctor it up. Yeah, see I was still continuing “breakfast” and apparently sucking on a sucker looks an awful lot like smoking a cigarette, and the local paper didn't want to post what looked an awful lot like a minor smoking.
Good times.

Uh, that was pretty much my last mention in anything I can think of.
