Surprise family trips are a big killer. And by surprise I mean surprise. As in two days before you're leaving they pop their head (parents I mean) around the door and are like: “Hey May, we're going to Grandma's on Wednesday for a few days. Get off of the computer and pack in advance.”
yes, been there. and I don't even live with them anymore!
“Yes, even though you don't live with us anymore and therefore don't have to abide by our rules we still expect you to come with us to do family stuff, and I won't take no for an answer!! by the way we're going in two days, so pack!!”

well my most annoying life moment getting between me and my comic (barring apathy and homework) would be when I moved, everything was in chaos, didn't have internet, couldn't hang out with anyone…yeah it sucked.
That and when I got shipped off to 'nam. That just sucked.

Sleep, first of all, gets in the way of everything, not just updating (or drawing) comics. Then comes my family, especially my mom. She's nice and all, but when she starts talking… there's just no stoping her.

I have to finish writing a short novel by next Tuesday for English. I'm only half-way there and that took me three weeks. And there's like 2000 words done so far. Curse my intelligence.
