Hey everyone,

Here's the story. A while back I was working as an editor for a comic book publisher called Twofold Comics. They released a few comics but ended up disbanding before they could really do anything substantial.

Fast forward to now.

I, along with one of the founding members of the company, am looking to rebuild Twofold Comics from the ground up. We're starting out small, but already have our first book in line for a January release.

And with that moving, we've got our eyes on our second project, a short story anthology series entitled Shrunken Wool. I'm putting out an open call for submissions of short stories anywhere from one to ten pages in length.

If any one is interested check out our Submission Guidelines to find out more infomation.

We'll also be in need of cover artists for each issue. So feel free to submit art samples if you'd like to be considered.

Also, keep in mind this is a labor of love on our parts, so while there is pay involved, all we can offer is a backend split between the creators featured in each issue, and that probably won't be much (if anything). But don't let that deter you cause this is chance to get your work in print and gain some great exposure.

Do you have a theme?
Or a rating you would want the submissions to be? Pg, Pg13, G, R
When good people do nothing, the ignoble will rise.

Right now we're not doing themes, we're just looking for good stories. Whatever they happen to be about. In terms of ratings, we're trying to keep it PG-13 or under. We'll consider R rated stuff, but it depends on how much we like the story and how R rated it is.

Is there a problem if I am (and I am) a minor?
I would like to contribute my newest comic No Background, if possible. In about a page the first chapter will end, and I think the first chapter stands alone as a good short story.

If it isn't the style you're going for, though, that is cool too.

As long as you're reliable and can get stuff to us when we need it, it doesn't matter age you are. I'll pass the story along and see what everyone else thinks.

Well everybody, issue 1 has just been sent off to the printer, it's 32 pages and due out in early February. But we're not stopping there. We've already got ten pages of issue two spoken for and another twenty-two we're looking to fill up, so if anyone is interested, head over to our website and check out our submission guidelines.

How many copies of the first issue sold if you don't mind my asking? – just kidding, I actually read over all the posts and stuff, and know it doesn't come out for a bit haha

“Kung Fu Komix IS…hardcore martial art action all the way. 8/10” -Harkovast
“Kung Fu Komix is that rare comic that is made with heart and love of the medium, and it delivers” -Zenstrive
“Kung Fu Komix is…so awesome” -threeeyeswurm
“Kung Fu Komix is..told with all the stupid exuberance of the genre it parodies” -The Real Macabre
