It is the year 2490. The world was ravaged by nuclear war during the early 2000's. The only people to survive were gamers, since they never leave their houses, and were therefore never affected by nuclear fallout.

In the years after this apocalypse, the gamers based their lives around their favorite game consoles. This led to three major factions, as well as a few smaller ones.

Haloites: Those who modeled themselves after the XBox 360 and Microsoft chose to name themselves the Haloites, due to the fact that their favorite game was generally Halo. They always try to emulate Master Chief, to the point of religious fanatacism. They are the most well-rounded faction.

Their leader is always referred to as “Spartan”.

Unit Types:

Grunts- The weakest of Haloite soldiers, grunts are easy to defeat but usually attack in fairly large numbers.

Marines- The average Haloite soldier, the marines behave much like soldiers of our own era.

Elite- These soldiers specialize in combat using plasma sword type weapons. Have full-body energy shielding.

Brutes- These troops have been genetically modified to be incredibly strong, hulking monstrosities. The strongest of the Haloite infantry.

Red Ring of Death Bomber- These suicide bombers carry bombs with “Red Ring of Death” timers attached to their chests. They deal MASSIVE damage upon explosion.

Warthog- The cavalry of the Haloite army. Travels more quickly than most troops.

Scorpion Tank-Large, slow, and powerful. They deal heavy damage, and have heavy armor.

Banshee- The Haloite flying unit. Quick, but poorly armed and difficult to control.

Wiivans: Those who chose to follow the Wii and Nintendo are the least technologically advanced of the three factions. They do, however, have an ENORMOUS number advantage over the other two armies.

Unit Types:

Goomba- The weakest of all the troops in existence, the goombas make up for it with low cost and easy creation. And creation is literal: They're grown in tubes. They appear exactly like goombas in the Mario game series, except larger. (Think OMG GOOMBA RUSH!!)

Wiimoters- These soldiers wield specially designed guns that are made of two seperate parts. These guns are more difficult to aim, but the Wiimoters use them because they believe them to be more “fun”.

Plumbers- Plumbers generally behave as the Wiivans retrieval/assasination group. They are exceptionally good at jumping due to years of training, allowing them to reach higher areas than most other soldiers. They also make use of many disguises to blend into crows. They use specialized devices to shoot fireballs from their hands.

Heroes- The most versatile of Wiivan troops, they use a large variety of weapons and devices along with their trademark swords.

Koopa- Armored soldiers that wield few weapons.

Kongs- Large, powerful soldiers wielding melee weapons. Rely on brute strenght and a few genetic enhancements (Quickened healing and increased durability) for combat.

Hunters- Hunters are the most powerful Wii soldier, and the only high-tech one they have. They use very powerful weapons, and can integrate other technology they find into their Power Suits.

Karts- The Wiivan cavalry. They are poorly armed and armored, but move fairly fast.

Koopa Paratroopa- Wiivan basic flying unit. Slow, and easy to kill.

Starfox- Wiivan advanced flying unit. About the same as a Banshee.

Sonyrans: Those who allied themselves with the PS3 and Sony chose to focus on technological advancement above all else. Indeed, most technology that other militaries use was stolen from them. That being said, the Sonyrans have poor population, and their troops are more expensive and time consuming to train and their vehicles more expensive to build.

Unit Types:

Helghast- These soldiers are genetically augmented to have healing abilities, as well as increased strength. They wield a large array of different weapons, and are the mainstay of the Sonyran army.

Resistor- Soldiers used primarily for defense, they are similar to Helghast except for their increased regenerative abilities.

Sephirot- Members of the Cult of Sephiroth. They use gigantic swords along with regenerative and strength enhancing genetic enhancements. Exhibit telekinetic/psychic abilities.

Ascended- The Sonyrans use all of their available genetic and technological abilities to create these beings. Incredibly strong, intelligent, and durable. They have also been shown to have extreme telekinetic/psychic abilities. Unfortunately, they are so expensive to make that only a few of them exist in the entire world. The most powerful unit in existance.

Metal Gear- Large, piloted mechs. They are the primary cavalry of the Sonyran army.

Hovercraft- Small anti-gravity craft. They move quickly, but are poorly armored. Primarily used for transport.

Warhawk- The Sonyran flying unit. More maneuverable than other flyers, it still doesn't have much more weaponry or armor.

OTHER:

Several other factions exist, from farmer nations who simply wish to be left alone to insane pornography cultists. However, they will only come into play rarely, and will usually avoid conflict.

RULES:
1: I will decide if your character doesn't make sense, as well as if you can do something in game. I made the thread, so it's my game. I decide what goes.

2: No godmodding. Don't just start killing people at random, or pretend that you're invincible. Even Sonyran Ascendeds can die if hit in the head with a bullet.

3: ONLY kill another player if they give you permission over PQ. Also, both of you must PQ me beforehand.

4: Not to be insulting, but please try to use proper spelling/grammar. It really ruins the atmosphere if you don't.

CHARACTER CREATION:

To play, simply choose a faction and create a character. I would advise one of the major factions, but you're free to go where you want. You aren't limited to the above unit types, so feel free to design your own. However, try to stay within what would make sense for your faction.

Faction leadership goes to the first person who asks. Unless that person is Cov.

Take note, however, that the leader of the Haloites will always look like Master Chief and have the abilities of an extremely advanced human soldier, with lots of genetic/technological modification. Don't worry though, he's more powerful than any of the troops I mentioned above.

Details- Current leader of the Sonyrans. Incredibly high intelligence and a master tactition. He is, however, slightly insane.

Details- Paku leads the Missileers From their dark tunnels 'neath the earth. His faction is no longer human for having stayed near the PCs in the irradiant cities that are still unapproachable to any who wish to avoid death by radiation. Now they secretly command the largest stockpile of nuclear weapons on earth, their own existence and the presence of their weapons still unknown to the rest of the world. He is kind and not bitter towards those who remain pure. But his people are determined to remain secret, and they protect their secrets fiercely. His sharpened brilliant mind is determined to keep it that way.

K. These Atarians, can you give me a bit of an idea about their political inclinations? Like what other factions they like, what kind of technology they tend to have, anything like that.

Of course, judging by the fisher, I'm guessing that they're not really a technologically advanced group, but rely on skill instead for combat. But I'm probably wrong.

They consist of middle-aged men who play Atari still. Midge is also in them. They build nearly everything out of polished wood.

Also all of there technology has joysticks on it. Even phones.

They have no political stance except that they'll fight for their rights to pretend to be not old.

Also Has Blazing Assault, a move that Calls on All of the Reploids He can turn into to Attack at once. This makes him lose Consciousness afterwards.


Details- Kidnapped from the Sony land at the Age of seven, Trent was Shaped into the best Hero they could make. Trent Hates the Wiivains and will Kill his own Troop if given the chance. He just wants to be with his Family Back in Sony. He also Hates small, furry Animals. (Especially blue ones)

details-his poeple have always see as war makers. Fury is different from his family in that he refuses to fight and will even use his skills to stop it. He sits atop a large spire that he can watch everything. He seems to make sure that no one bad mouths his people. (by the way ancients are all around players. they like them all but take specific sides)

Well, this will start tomorrow. I'm too tired to do it right at the moment, and would prefer not to do it wrong.

Also, if no one has claimed the leader positions for the other two factions by then, I'll just control them untill someone does.

GAME STARTS NOW (I'll play all NPC's until someone gets here to lead the other factions.)

Machine gun fire crashes through the air of a dilapidated city. Burned out buildings shake from explosions. Dust rises in the air.

A horde of goombas is marching through the remains of a city with a long forgotten name. Wiimoter gunmen give them cover fire, while a few Heroes use their hookshots to explore the tops of buildings.

A small group of helghast light infantry mow down the goombas, but the swarm continues to advance. Several helghast snipers sit on the rooftops taking down Wiimoters.

“Sir, we're outnumbered” says a young helghast to his to his superior, on the verge of panic.

“Shouldn't matter. We've got a Gear on the way.” says the Sergeant, nonchalantly tossing a grenade into the Wiivan ranks before returning to cover.

“But sir, we've only got about fifteen normal guys, and only three snipers. Unless that Gear gets here fast, we're screwed.”

“Just keep shooting and don't worry. It won't matter. Trust me.”

A person is sleeping in his tent when a Plumber General barges in.

“Sir! The invasion Has begone! Get your ass out there!” said the General.

Then a Blast Shot Grazed by the General's head.

“Shut up! I'll get up when I want to!” said the person

The young reploid get's up and walks outside.

“Metal Gear!” Some Wiimoter yells as he gets Crushed.

“Ahhh… Damn it. Always the hard stuff in the morning…” he said as he turned into Zero and Dashed toward the Metal Gear.

“Damn kid! He needs to be in fifty yards of this rermote.” Said the Plumber General as he runs off after him.

(The goombas are supposed to be mindless drones. Heroes or Hunters usually control them.)

Foxhole:

“Awright Private, I have confirmation that the Gear has arrived. You can stop pissing your pants now.”

Main battlefield:

The Metal Gear crashes into sight, knocking down a small building on top of the Wiivan forces in the process. It proceeds to fire machine guns and laser blasts at the goombas and Wiimoters.

A small click is heard inside the cockpit, impossible for a normal man to notice, but the enhancements on a Sonyran pilot give him incredible senses and reflexes. A light labelled “Com” blinks on.

The sergeant's voice blasts out over the com device, “It's about damn time! We were almost screwed there!”

“Well I guess you're damn luck then, aren't you? You've got one of the best pilots in the entire Sonyran army here to take the fuckers down.”

“We're not here to beat these guys, just to slow them down. We need to give the Atarians time to evacuate.” Says the sergeant.

“There's an Atarian base on the other side of this shithole ruin? And why would we protect them anyway?” The pilot inquires.

“We allied with them earlier this month. This is just a civilian farming town. I have no idea why the Wiivans are attacking it. Now get back to shooting things.”

Rooftops:

A Hero lands behind a Helghast sniper. The sniper continues to fire, not appearing to know that the Wiivan fighter is right behind him.

The Hero pulls his sword, and raises it to strike.

Suddenly, the sniper wheels about, putting a small handgun against the Hero's chest. They both freeze, each knowing that the slightest move could cause the other to attack.

A stray missile from the Gear hits the building, killing them both instantly and knocking the building on top of a small group of goombas.

Atari Fisherman uses fishing!

Rain continues to fall!

(I've added the Warhawk flying unit for the Sonyrans, the Banshee flying unit for the Haloites, and the Starfox and Koopa Paratrooper flying units for the Wiivans.)

The Hero Speed Past A Wiimoter as a missile heads towards him.

“Noooooooo!” Yells the Wiimoter. Then his yell stop as an explosion hit in front of him. The man looked to see The same Hero Block the blast with the Boomerang Shield.

“Be more Careful!” Yelled the Reploid Hero. He then Dashed towards the Metal Gear ones again.

“Wait!” Yells the Plumber as he runs by. The Wiimoter just stared at the Hero who saved him and wonder who he was.

Meanwhile, The Hero got up to the Leg of the Metal Gear. He pulled out the Z-saber and Slashed three times into the non moving Leg. Then He turned into Vile and Implanted a Grenade into the Slashes. Then the Leg moved and the bottom guns Spotted the Hero. They begun Firing at him. He dodge left and right, then he turned into Phantom and used a smokeshreen to get away. The grenade detonated and blew off the Left Foot of the Metal Gear as it stepped down on it. It started to fall as the Plumber ran into the area.

“ahhhhhhhh!” Yelled the Plumber as he got crushed under the Metal Gear. The remote flys out of his hand and lands on the ground. One of the Hero's picked it up as the Reploid show up.

“Give me that Remote.” the Reploid said.

“Trent Reps… I was told not to. Now Take out the Rest of them.” Said the Hero.

Trent just glared and said “You got to stay within Fifty yards of me. Got it?” The hero just nodded and followed him.

(No two of them look alike. Just make up a giant robot. Hell, I didn't even think of the ones in this game as much like the ones in the actual MG series. They're just sort of close)

“SHIT SHIT SHIT SHIT!!!” the pilot screams, as lights and alarms go off all over the gear. He feals a sudden intense heat before losing consciousness.

Foxhole

“Respond, Gear, RESPOND!!” The Sergeant screems into his com device, recieving only static. “GODDAMMIT!!”

“Sir, what's happening?” The Private asks, in a shaky voice.

“The Gear's down, that's what. I'm calling a retreat.” He then presses a button on his device marked OPEN. “All troops, we're retreating. Get to the extraction point. I'll call in the 'Hawks early.”

(A bit more on watchers, they are the most tech adebt but they lack numbers. They can defeat entire armies though and only loss a man. Each member directly reports to Fury, but they only attack people if things effect them)

Fury-leader, is immortal through some strange accident that infused him with tech
Strumers-use guitar like weapons that can hack any unit but only for one song
hi-archs-large mechs that can hold off large units but are slow and can fit into small areas.
camos-adapted to the backgroud, are assasigns and are only able to be seen through a sleught.
Bloods-hand-to-hand units; these are fast, stronger and agile but are not very intelligent; at extreme points of anger they go into a blood rage and will kill anything nearby.
Wingers-only flight unit of the Watchers, shaped like Jedi Starfighters(Lego Star Wars was for everything) High speed but lack heavy weaponry, only the elite wingers have heavy weapons.

Fury gazed upon the city with the battle and signed. He closes his eyes and looks to how the fight would turn out. What he sees astounishes him, he stands and turns to the resting troops.

“MEN, A BATTLE THAT COULD TURN THE PEACE OF THE LAND HAS ERUPTED. WE MUST ACT NOW”

The troops move out at a great speed. They arrive and many of the troops in the city stop when they see Fury before them. “Don't be alarmed, we're here to keep the peace, and to stop something.”

(Cov, I'm not sure I like these “Watchers”. This game is supposed to be based on System Wars, meaning that each faction is based on a game system or just a game of some kind. Not to mention that they sound ridiculously overpowered. I thought that they sounded like just some fun silly little guy, but this new thing about “Taking down armies and only losing a single man” is a bit crazy. My Sonyrans don't do that. They just have a bit more awesome soldiers. You're pulling that oneupsmanship kind of crap that you do.)
