So what are your plans for New Year's Eve? Any resolutions? Traditions? I'm curious!

As for me, I'm going to have a quiet evening in with just a couple friends, a bottle of wine (or two or three or seven), and some mini Roman candles. Yay! I'm not much for resolutions, though.

Ho ho.

Billy vs. Tree – The epic struggle of boy versus tree.
Sonic Colores – It looks like it's going to be a good game because I love how the way it makes me grow.

I don't think I've ever had a really good new year's. There was one good one, but later incidents ruined the memory.

I'll probably just stay home, make myself a nice meal and waste time- like I've been doing all week. :]

I'm not much for partying and anyhoo I haven't really got any friends(or the sort that you'd spend new year's with anyway) so I'll probably just stay up and watch The Office with my dad. That's what I do most years and so far it's been working out pretty well.

I think my family was having some sort of party I'm expected to attend. Truth be told I don't actually know, I've spent the last week or so sleeping out of boredom and have no plans whatsoever to change this for New Years.

Though, I did have an awesome idea for next New Years if I can find out if it's legal. I'd like to play at mixing between art and science a bit and make a whole bunch of tissue paper hot air balloons that hold candles/lights inside them to release over the lake next year. I think it would be an incredibly awesome sight to see one-hundred+ paper lamps floating out over the waters of Lake Michigan at New Years.

I'll probably just spend a quiet evening in possibly talking with my wubby.
Resolutions: None really, aside from procrastination.

Iba that would be really cool!

I'll be spending the turn of the year with a certain lass I've been seeing lately. Not sure where we'll go, though.

Not doing any resolutions. Shouldn't have to wait for an arbitrary point in time to change one's life for the better. Got 364 other days for that.

“You tell yourself to just
enjoy the process,” he added. “That whether you succeed or fail, win or
lose, it will be fine. You pretend to be Zen. You adopt detachment, and
ironic humor, while secretly praying for a miracle.”

My drawing buddy invited me to her New Years party, so I'll probably be going to that. As for resolutions… uh… well… dammit! Too bad Vickie used the 300dpi joke last year. Well, I got 'til the end of the month to think about it.

My original plans for New Year's eve was to go to bed early and rise even earlier the next morning for my 5k on January 1st, but since the 5k has been canceled I probably don't have anything planned. The only tradition we currently have is having too much family at my house and making up resolutions that we forget about in a week.
My resolutions? Lie less often.

I pray that next year won't be bad like this year (or the previous year) was for me…
