In fact I can't think of more than 3 sprite comics that are even worth reading.

Well that's you problem, just don't read them and don't comment on them.

I'm not a fan of sprite comics either, and I have to admit yours isn't original by any definition of the word. It looks like you have just taken screen shots of the game. The dialogue whilst in an innovative concept with the text box at the bottom makes this seem even more like a game than a comic. The plot appears very generic, there's just something missing.
I'm sorry this is my opinion and probably the same as quite a few other people on drunck duck no doubt. It isn't bad for a first attempt, and I think it would be a good idea to go away, think about it and come back with an original sprite comic that will please even tater.
I know you don't want to be seen as another of those generic megaman comics.

Don't worry Protosoft, there are MANY people here that will support your comic, they just don't hang around the main forums much… There's plenty of them in the user forums though for the sprite comics!
