The Drunk Duck site was out of commission for about half a day for me. I couldn't access it from work or home.

Now that it's finally working for me again, I'm stunned by the massive number of newcomers.

So did Platinum just host a massively successful advertising campaign for Drunk Duck and did the increased number of visitors overload the server or something?

Can anyone explain what happened or are everyone around, just as confused as I am?

I am also very confused by this all.

The site is still being weird, too. The time on all the posts is messed up.

The wrong time zones, I'm guessing will also mean auto updates will be far behind schedule, and there's nothing we can do about it~

There was a problem with the servers that DD and Plat are hosted on. All the relevant people were contacted as soon as it happened and worked to fix it.

If you ever have trouble seeing DD you can check the LJ site for updates or the DD twitter page for info on progress:

Yep! The time stamps mixing up is effecting the auto updates.
This should mean that it will update 7 hours passed the normal time.
That'll be 1pm for me, so I guess that's okay.

I fail to see your point…

In addition, as far as problems go for DD, this is not one of the most annoying (at least in my opinion).
I still however have faith that skool can use her hypno-powers on Platinum.Also make them wear indigo tutus and watch Rachel Ray's 30min Meals… also prostitution would be good.

The time stamps are how I keep track of time during the summer. This has me all confuddled.
DD's been kinda weird on me all day.

I've never paid attention to the timestamps on DD, because I'm in GMT and DD doesn't adjust for different time zones. :[ So I didn't notice til someone complained about it.
