As the title says, my writing partner and I are presently seeking an artist willing to work with us on a non-profit horror-adventure webcomic. There are no plans to distribute the comic beyond DrunkDuck, so it is unlikely that your work will be paid for (this may change in the future, pending discussions with local publications), though any artists willing to work on it would be able to use it in their respective portfolios.

The first story has been written, totalling at 40 pages, as well as an 8-page introductory chapter with more light-hearted tones, which are used to break up the more serious elements without overshadowing them. The series includes a small recurring cast and will be in a mostly episodic format, with some over-arcing story aspects. Real life ghost detection techniques are prevalent, and “real life” magic is also homaged.

It is not vital, but preferred that you have AIM or Skype, so we can communicate directly. Poetic license is allowed, even encouraged, and contributions during idea discussions are always welcome. Leave a link to some of your work here if you are interested, and we will be able to decide who we like the best.

We thank you for your time, and hope to hear from you very soon.

A temporary artist has been brought onboard to draw up some concept sketches. Watch this space, and hopefully seeing them will help those who are uncertain to make the decision of showing their interest.
