I just thought of this this morning, but how would you guys feel if I composed all of the comics and remixes into a book to be sold on lulu?

I'd sell it for cost, clearly, so I'd not be making anything off your art, but I think it'd be cool to be able to get, after round 4, and the project, is over.

The thing is, I'd need absolutely everyone's permission to do it.

Anyway, what do you guys think? Worthwhile?

I like the idea! I think each artist should write a little comment and/or paragraph talking about their remixes before each couple. It would be something I'd want, definitely.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing about the artists blurbs…

I don't know if I should just do, like, a “The Best of” thing instead of the entire project. If I did it today it'd be 264 pages long. Come the end of round 4.0 probably more likw 350, thats a long as novel. And of color art too! It'd probably be a 30$ book. Granted I could have some comics share a page, but thats not going to cut it down too much.

Plus I think some people are going to be hard as hell to get ahold of, like people who were in the first round and then just vainished off the face of the internet.

Maybe I should just try to cut it down to, like 80-100 of the best remixes…

Plus something like Bird and Worm, Sean couldn't even give me the permission to print that in an anthology if he wanted to, I'd have to submit a request through Platinum Studios.

Hmmm. Maybe instead you announce this for Remix 4.0, so that everyone conforms to some specifications, and just add some highlights from the previous remixes? That would make for a thinner book. Also, you could make a thin book for each remix?

A “best of” would probably be better. Pick the ones that really captured the remix thing and look good on paper.

I agree! There were some remixes that totally deserve to be in a book. the only problem is, the original artist might not be recognized as much as the remixer D:
