Well… living here now isn't that bad. Our numbers may be smaller… significantly… but we make up for that in spirit of fearlessness and other… qualities. We'll prevail in the end. This is for all the people who've ever been flamed for being honest. It happened to me.(Funny story). It happened to you. For all we know, the people over at Riot's team could be those same people. Yes I have been flamed for being honest! And I've overseen others being so.

But besides that, I don't believe that by taking away an original screename takes away from your popularity or original sense.
And sometimes the made up screenames are misleading. As spoken about on DeviantART once… names that have honorfics attached to the end would drive someone to believe the person is an anime or manga artist or someone who's “japanese”. Kindda dissapointing when all I've said turns out untrue.
