A tray? That's it? I'm pretty susceptible to all those kewl gizmos, but even I fail to see the value in a collapsing drink tray. Maybe the late-great Billy Mays could have sold me on it.

The “value”, I suspect, is in space reduction. Somethings that cover large flat surfaces take up more space than they should.

The question I want answered about that is why they thought that people needed drink trays at home? We have tables, so we don't exactly need them. And using them in the car doesn't serve much point, as you have a spare seat and cup holders anyway, and it won't save any mess.

WHY DO PEOPLE AT HOME NEED DRINK TRAYS, LITTLE OWN COLLAPSIBLE ONES?

I actually took this as an insult of sorts when I saw it. That Americans are so fat and rely so heavily on fast food that they actually need a tray to make their fat, stupid lives easier.
