This year I've come up with a new and (hopefully) fun competition idea.

Pimp My Vast!

The contest is really very simple.
Shamelessly plugging my comic all the time is harder than people realises, so I am going to get everyone else to help shamelessly plug it for me!

The winner will be who ever can send Harkovast the most hits over the next two weeks.
What could be easier?
I can measure where I am getting hits from (and how many) using project wonderful (who provide the adverts on Harkovast.) Using this info I will be able to compile whose efforts have been most successful.
Now obviously with a system like this I will only be able to measure hits I get from an actual link you have set up. So while getting your friends and family to look at Harkovast would work fine, you need to make sure they get to it via a link you have set up so I can measure the effect.

It is also important to message me with what you have done to send hits my way, so I know who to credit them to!

Each person can post as many links to Harkovast as they want over the 2 weeks (more links obviously increasing their chances of winning!)

Places you could post links might include-
Facebook or over social networking sites.
Deviant art or similar art related sites.
Your own comic pages.
On forums

The winner will be announced in two weeks, and they will receive some art drawn by me and coloured by Mrs Vast. They can basically get a picture of what ever they want (such as fan art for their own comic, if they have one.)

A couple of things to bare in mind-
1- Dont post links to harkovast in the comments of other peoples comics on DD. That would just make you seem obnoxious
2- Dont hijack forum threads to talk about Harkovast when it is out of place.

Basically just use your common sense and dont be a jark about trying to get hits. Anyone behaving this way will be disqualified straight away.

But how would I set it up so you would know I sent the hit?

You can also just message me and tell me what you are doing, to make sure I am aware of it.

Shoot, with it being a good while since the 5th - does that mean the contest is over?

I have a pretty good idea of where I could go to do it. :) I'll take a crack at it.

Its still open for a few more days, so you might just be able to sneak in and win at the last minute.
