We thought this one had some good ideas behind it, but desperately needs some focus; without it, Triple Torture just looks like it's trying way too hard.

WHATCHOO NIGGAZ THANK??
you know why birds don't write their memoirs? because birds don't lead epic lives, that's why. who'd want to read what a bird does? nobody. that's who.

This is the first comic we've reviewed that I didn't understand at all!

Hmmm, we need some more controversy to get folks postin…

IT WAS RACIST TOO!

There, that worked with Good Guy, so it is bound to work here!

I like the look but even judging off the page I saw, the paneling and story/dialouge are a little off.

Just saw this comic. I like the art, but the dialogue placement was confusing.

It should have been mentioned in the review that it hasn't been updated since August.

Hasn't updated since august, eh?
Well that's sort of the risk we run reviewing web comics, they have a high turn over rate, so often by the time we come to review them, they've died!
It's an unavoidable consequence of what we are doing unfortunately.
We could discount comics that have not updated for a long time, but what about finished comics like The Optimist?
Any suggestions on how we should deal with this are welcome.

I think comics like “The Optimist” are different in that they had a story and it ended voluntarily. This comic, on the other hand, just…stopped updating one day. I'm not really sure how this problem could be solved since, you're right, webcomics do have a high turnover rate. I just wanted to point out it hadn't updated in a long time.

Yeah, ditto to what elektro said. It's one thing if you end the story with a conclusion, it's another to just stop where you are and not resolve the story. You could always skip over comics that stop updating, but I definitely think you should review comics that are completed start to finish. Not all stories are an ongoing series.
