I am busy searching for reasons not to put up the sets for my next comic and start principle photography. Every time I go into the workroom I'm stepping over them and they just sit on the floor and stare at me imploring me to put everything aside and get the properties together for the shoot.

And I put new blades into my X-acto knife two weeks ago. I cut my finger immediately. Fast foward to today and I just cut my finger in precisely the same place.

Tiime for you to publish a book or make a stop motion animation ^_^
You should be doing model work for movies. We're all more than tired of stupid 3D crap. Sure there were some dodgey models but when they were good they blitzed anything in 3D.

I finally have risen from my sickness… I'm pretty sure it was the flu. Anywhos, I went to work and then decided to celebrate my nefound energy by going to the gym! I haven't stepped inside there for… 4- no 5 years? Luckily my gym buddy actually is my roomate, so I'm technically obliged to go… even when I don't wanna.

Comic wise? heck, more updates would be nice I suppose…

Agreed, a good modeling is just as good- even better then mediocre cgi!

So what sort of weird things are going to happen in this thread?

Oh, well… Finally, that security contract with the elementary schools has ended. I can finally relax at work while I walk around keeping an eye on a set of buildings called a “condo”, and talk to the people walking their dogs at the dead of night and…

oh, no… the education authority loved out work so much that they're working out funding for a more permanent arrangement. And because I'm “reliable” to the security company it's guaranteed I'll be stuck back in there when we get a new school security contract. I better get used to being creeped out every night…

If you want to work in a buidling where you actually will see people die and escort in cornoners and morticians I'm sure there's a senior residence just crying out for a security guard.

Last weekend I brought in the EMS to one apartment and as they were leaving with the lady I got this cold chill and wave of sadness. I might have been channeling her son's feelings but there was also a sinking feeling that she wasn't coming back. Took about fifteen minutes to shake it off.

Like the latest Aardman production… something about pirates. The sets were fantastic.

I do not know this ed money of which you write…

–00–

I had a good time with my sis in town Paddlig around on the river on a canoe with her and my niece. Got badly sunburned though… but it was lurvely in the sun. The water was sooooo warm.
Later we went on a ferres wheel- first time I've ever been on one. Sooooo booring! Maybe it'd be nicer if you were huggin' and kissn' a cutie, but as a family type thing it's not that fun.
Had a caramel hot choclate later which was amazingly delish!

Now I have to work on finishing my damn sculpture…

Sculpture eh? What are the medium and subject of this three dimensinal undertaking?
I 'm not experienced in sculptural matters, although I dig create a birthday cake shaped like a hedgehog a couple of weeks back. I ended up employing too much realism and then having to slice him was heartbreaking - he kept staring up at me with those big, sad eyes. Actually they were m&ms.

That's a great sculpture. I'm kinda tempted by it to have a sculpture done for me.

Ugh. Just finished working on my computer again. After several months of not worrying about the dust I open the thing up and find all my dust filters nearly blocked, causing the insides to overheat. Even worse… it somehow got in. I had to put on my armor, take out my sword and shield and battle the evil giant Dust Bunny inside…

And I went ahead and cleaned out the insides, then create dust screens using chicken wire screen (cut to fit the fan) and paper towels. The paper towels work well, but they get sucked in by the fans too easily.

Now my machine is nice and cool again. I may have to find a way to replace the fan for my video card as that seems to have been damaged by the invading dust…

Still playing Star Trek Online. Got myself a Klingon “Battle Carrier” called the Kar'Fi. This thing's design is based on the demons of Klingon lore (in the game anyways) which I found my Klingon engineer fighting (and oddly enough he can summon an Orbital Strike even in the depths of Hell itself).
The thing resembles a lion fish. It doesn't have the normal abilities of the carriers in the game, though. But it launches suicidal fighters… up to 12 of them. Bad for anynone I've targetted, but even worse for the borg as they carry weapons that can really hurt them.

Info on the Kar'Fi, courtesy of the Star Trek Online wiki

I swear, it's pretty much like I just looked up today and realized I have a fairly attractive female for a roommate, and I'm still not entirely clear how this happened. I've just actually reached the point where I block her out as a potential relationship and just don't even think about it anymore for whatever reason long before we moved in together, and it takes someone making a really offensive statement blatantly asking if she was sleeping around to realize that people think we're married/dating and that it must look mighty odd for this other fellow ( who actually is in a relationship with her. ) to keep coming around, coincidentally at the same times I happen to be gone. Personally, I'm just too busy for a relationship, so I don't think about them ever, but this realization has suddenly got me wondering what it looks like is going on in my house to the neighbors eyes.

How's that for weirdness to start off a new thread for the year?

Get a buxom dimwitted blonde with asymetrical pony tails to move in and it'll all be okay.

When I got out of college I had five female housemates. I only ever ended up sharing a room with one of them. It's not that weird.

Hopefully you jaw will go back with no issues! :(

@Ironscarf- that looks So delish! Certainly tastier than a real hedgehog.
I'd imagine anyway…?
Unless the real things are full of caramel. Caramel is the king of flavours.
…my sculpture is done. Finished. Completed! I'll post pics as soon as I'm on a comp that's signed into my photobucket account (main materials: Stainless steel + exposed dental Xray slides).

My finished work:

The torso is just a half body shop dummy. It has no back or head… I made a head for it. It's also male. My work makes it female though ^_^

Wow Ozone, Congratulations on completing your sculpture. It is amazing how you were able to create something very unique from recycled materials and give them a second life. What is even more amusing is the belly dancer style and how it has been fused with armour. I hope whoever wears it in battle has abs of steel. You made the waist to hip ratio believably feminine. It is a work of pure Genius! Thanks for sharing.

Ironscarf - love that cake, too…damn, some fine talented folks are hangin' around these
parts.

Now, if ozone's armored warrior fought ironscarf's sugary hedgehog…

:) Thanks for that Kawaii!
The best thing is that the torso is a male figure. But with a bikini and a flaring belt, I got it to look nicely female- but nothing else added or taken away- no bra stuffing or hip padding, even its groin bulge is still there etc and the slides are all see through.

Looks fantastic Ozone - a real transformation of the materials into something totally new. The ear feathers are an interesting addition too - I'm getting a hint of tightly honed warrior mothwoman.
