Here's the topic for today - please share your thoughts in a comment!

The things that I am really, really looking forward to are functions like cancer screenings and real-time heart monitoring. Seeing as how cancer, when caught early, is usually not a problem, being able to regularly screen myself (possible automatically) would all but ensure that I wouldn't die from it even if I developed it. Similarly, heart attacks are the #1 killer of people in my country, so knowing if I ever developed heart problems would similarly give me a lot of protection.

I've had the pleasure of wearing a cardiac monitor. My wife got to take the whole digestive tract camera capsule.

I'd like blood sugar, as well as temperature, breathing, heart rate and blood pressure. Depending on how invasive you're willing to get there are a bunch of others possible even today.

Yep. I think once we get to the point that there are relatively non-invasive “packages” that will appeal to most people that we're going to have something that can change society for the better. I personally would be one of the earlier adopters, though - too often a person can have a problem that will kill them that they never even knew they had. I don't want that to be me.

A monitor for all systems would be cool, like the dials in a car.
How we are now reminds me of when you're playing an FPS and there are no indicators for anything, whereas this would be the usual situation in an FPS where you have a health monitor and armour levels etc.
I think that might make us live a lot healthier!!!

Though some people might take things to the limit a lot more with drugs and bad activities because they'll be able to fine tune things so much easier when they can see a representation of their health status.
Other people will become morbidly obsessed and try and get all their levels to be perfect as much as possible all the time.

As long as the meter is understandable and not confusing or too technical so that only a trained specialist can understand it, it'd be really cool.

It would need a orgasmoteter to show how near climaxing you or your partner are. 😂😂😂
