Ok. Thirteen is enough for one post. Many of the non-metal ones are typical examples for what my friends and I used to have on cassette tapes, if memory serves. Even if most of my childhood happened in the late 80s and early 90s, songs like these were still considered acceptable listening material. Typically the cassettes had been painstakingly recorded by someone's older sibling and then, er, borrowed by us. I'm sure I've still got one or two of them somewhere.
Some songs are in German, but knowing the internet some die-hard fans will have done translations somewhere.

Speaking of tapes: old tapes may sometimes be a bit brittle after all those years, so if you play them and want to keep what's on them, make sure to record it all on your computer or something right away. Depending on storing conditions, you might only be able play them once before they fall apart.
