Good evening viewers, thank you for tuning in. A lot has happened this week. Arizona has finally shown its crazy. Louisiana is in mortal environmental danger again. People find a car bomb in New York City and New Yorkers say “eh.” Britain is getting ready to lynch its entire government. And what the hell is going on with Greece? It's your own fault, you know.
How about we take a little break from all of that?
I know you've all been looking forward to your weekly DrunkDuck member interview! This week we have a few special guests: returning interviewer Pieguy259 takes on PIT_FACE of PUTRID MEAT, a comic which cannot be described in mere words.
So! Now that the generalities are over, let's get to the meat, as it were, of the interview. We'll start with Bones, that charming scallywag. Where did the lovely Bones spring from?Although I know it is my role to be Fair and Balanced, but I nevertheless hold deep reservations about any sentence featuring both “Bones” and “right and natural.”
Haha, shit, somewhere that probably needs to be nuked off the face of the earth. I gotta say he's a product of my infatuation with thrash metal. I used to draw this other character, pretty Mary Sueish back when I was in high school, and one night, Bones just kicked his way into my imagination and said “nah chick, screw that other douche, yer gonna tango with me for a while.” I mean, that's pretty much how it was. There weren't any second thoughts or anything, the minute I thought of Bones, it was pretty much love at first sight and he wrote himself.
Like, when I started coming up with Bones and Putrid and everything, it all felt so right and natural.
Boop-beedy-boop-beep-beep-boody-boop incoming news!
Pam Harrison's House of the Muses has been featured in the first issue of eurOut.org magazine, a publication from a prominent website about “European lesbian entertainment news, storylines and political nformation.” She's got a nice long interview, and it appears that she will be doing a regular feature for them in future issues! Congrats Pam. :] You can read the interview here (you have to click on the Flash reader thingy). In an unrelated bit of news, Pam is also announcing her new series in July, “A Deviant Mind.”
*shuffles papers* And in a last bit of news for tonight,
darrell's Divine Leap reached 350 pages on Thursday! darrell was presented with a cupcake by local Cub Scout troop #85, and he shared the secret of his longevity with his well-wishers: “Just keep updating, and soon, you will have 350 pages!” Then he ate his cupcake and made another comic. Awwww!
Goodnight viewers! I will be more or less on holiday for the next 2 weeks, so the news might end up a bit off-schedule and PQs may go unanswered, but never fear, I will be doing my best!
