Just to reiterate the latest Get Satisfaction post from Lawrence:

Things to note:
* We've temporarily removed the Post Count and Last Post columns on the main Forums page, as it was causing the page to load very slowly. We still intend to get those displaying again in the future.
* We've temporarily disabled Page Range specification in Advanced Search. It was causing issues with the search functionality so we'll have that back up once we resolve the issue.
* You may notice missing comments here and there, particularly in your User Profile. We're aware of the issue and are working on it.
* Comments that were just ‘5’ votes on your comic pages were not ported over.
* You may notice missing PQ's in your Inbox. We're aware of the issue and are working on it.
* Not all stats on your Stats page may display. We'll have all that data back in shortly.
* You currently won't be able to earn new trophies. Again we plan to eventually build that feature back into the site.
* The pre-made templates from the old site will not be available at launch. We're sorry for the inconvenience, but we do plan to build that feature back in shortly after launch. For now, if you were really attached to the old look of your comic page, you'll have to try and replicate it yourself using the customization tools (Hit ‘Activate Layout Mode’ when on your comic page).
* There's no bulk uploading currently available at launch. We plan to build the feature back into the site shortly.

Thank you all again SO much for your patience! The site will continue to improve over the days and weeks as we work to resolve these outstanding issues!

NOTICE: not the place to post issues, guys. And I think things are running better right now but there's still a lot to fix. /good luck.

All I (and, I guess, everyone else) am getting for all comics is: TypeError at /COMICNAME/ unsupported operand type(s) for -: 'datetime.date' and 'NoneType' Request Method: GET Request URL: http://www.drunkduck.com/COMICNAME/ Django Version: 1.3 Exception Type: TypeError Exception Value: unsupported operand type(s) for -: 'datetime.date' and 'NoneType' Exception Location: /home/duck/public/drunkduck/users/templatetags/user_tags.py in is_mature, line 14 Python Executable: /home/duck/public/drunkduck/ Python Version: 2.6.5 Python Path: ['/home/duck/public/drunkduck', and so on for several pages.

chrisdotclark at 4:09PM, July 17, 2011

Hate to say this but I think things are getting worse before they get better. Can't access anything now, just get: TemplateSyntaxError at /search/ Caught TypeError while rendering: unsupported operand type(s) for -: 'datetime.date' and 'NoneType' Think I'm gonna go away until next weekend, see if anything got sorted. Good luck.

It's saying, when I try to upload my page, that it's too large. My page is 1.32MB. The max size is 2.0. What gives?

Jamie59 at 10:45AM, July 17, 2011

Still can't get into adult comics. Also all old PQ in my inbox are gone!

royduncan100 at 9:04AM, July 17, 2011

i can't get a god damn thing to work on here! i can't even post a new fucking page, i am so tired of this. i should not have to take classes to relearn how to make this work. yeah, i'm bitching about it!love me or hate me for being honest i just don't care at this point.

PROBLEMS I'VE FOUND: - Comics posted by anyone who isn't the main author of a webcomic are shown as being posted by the main author. - If I edit the author's notes on a comic, the date the comic was posted changes to today's date. - On the list of comic pages, there aren't arrows to allow you to move the top page on the list up into the previous list, or the bottom page of the list down into the next list.

I can't use the Layout mode... nothing saves

theorah at 1:18AM, July 17, 2011

In spite of all the bugs and things to sort out, I'm liking the new site, both in navigation and the way it looks :) Very nice and easy, I look forward to using it ^^

Darwin at 4:48PM, July 16, 2011

Another bug to add...the images locker isn't working, I'm having to borrow files for images uploaded in other places. The "plug and play" customization is also pretty picky about which images it will accept and which it won;'t (IE I was able to put the background at the top of TOHS but it doesn't seem to like the background image for Plague).

darth_paul at 3:44PM, July 16, 2011

So, I guess b/c I was using a semi-custom black template for my two comics is why now I've got nothing and need to recreate it with the new tools? :-(

dragonrider at 12:30PM, July 16, 2011

OK same problem on the A rated comics others are reporting, some comics, Lucky Dawg and Hot Rod others comment on the way the page looks I can't see anything, reload page still nada, when I tried to get to DD I got a 405 Bad Gateway page went away for 15 minutes and got in, that I figure too many people trying to get in at the same time.

theshazerin at 8:45AM, July 16, 2011

Great new look! The navigation takes some time getting used to, and a lot of stuff to try out and learn, especially all the new stuff under edit comic. Since there are still some issues left within the site, I'll wait this one out a while.

cote at 8:28AM, July 16, 2011

First of all, Congratulations. "Not all stats on the stats page..." Where is the Stat page? I also suspect my ability to receive e-mails will be re-instated. I hope I'm not missing a check box I do not see. Again, Thanks for the slog.

peterfrid at 3:57AM, July 16, 2011

peterfrid at 3:55AM, July 16, 2011

chrisdotclark at 3:01AM, July 16, 2011

When I try to view adult comics (including my own) it says I need to log in, but I am logged in.

skoolmunkee at 1:49AM, July 16, 2011

Some wonky formatting going on here in the comments, the pictures and text are all having overlap problems. Actually the formatting all over the site is crazy, I don't know what happened, everything looked fine when we were testing the other day.

pinali at 12:12AM, July 16, 2011

Comics seem to be appearing on "Latest Updates" when they upload header images as well as comics (not sure if replacing an already existing header image does this too or if it's just when installing one that was absent before) but it seems like a bug that should be fixed, so just pointing that out for you guys.

jtmailinator at 9:29PM, July 15, 2011

Running firefox and the menu items (search, favorites ect) are behind the display box. Much (much, much) prefer old matrix of results in search.

fukujinzuke at 9:15PM, July 15, 2011

Following up on my post below, I've discovered that the "502 Bad Gateway" only occurs on my attempt to view/edit a page under Comics I Assist. This is not happening under My Comics in the User Control Panel.

Blackfyr at 8:54PM, July 15, 2011

I'm seeing a problem on Chrome with the Favorites menu. I'm running OS X 10.5 and with Google Chrome the favorites menu comes up behind the comic on the comic page. Chack out http://db.tt/Y1EwN3q for a screen shot.

fukujinzuke at 8:52PM, July 15, 2011

Bah, uploaded a new page to a comic I'm assisting. Looks like it went, but when I try to view/edit it to check on the upload = "502 Bad Gateway" D'oh!

JediAnn Solo at 8:08PM, July 15, 2011

Well done on the site, guys! I love how it looks so far. You should probably mention, however, that the page customization tools aren't exactly working either right now. I mean, you can definitely preview how it looks and it's awesome, but you can't save the changes. Keep up the awesome work, Duck Team!

AzuJOD at 7:35PM, July 15, 2011

Hmm... looks likes it's working OK.
