In a world called Terra, a celestial forest is the origin of creation, and also acts as its guardian against the terrible force of Mother- a manipulative force of terror and pain which seeks to hurt Terra. The forest creates its own protective force, in the form of a young girl. This dirt-eating girl is fresh from the… tree goo, and needs a young boy named Mars to help get her sorted out before she can do whatever it is she's supposed to. The story is mysterious and the art is bizarre, spooky, brilliant and beautiful. A warped, dark, funny fantasy with some Miyazaki touches, this is one not to miss.
