There's A LOT going on in Typical Strange, many story threads, because Banes is an author's author who loves his stories! The twists, turns and very strange side tracks are the best part of typical strange, you really never know where things are going next, but you do know it'll be somewhere funny! Oscar is a pretty normal guy, working daily at a video movie place. TK is an acerbic nerd, Penelope, his imposing gentle giant sister, has a crush as big as herself on Oscar, who doesn't quite return her feelings… Wade, Harley, Abigail and more share their crazy adventures.
The art is gloriously bright digital colour, anatomy isn't strong but characterisation IS! The story style is mystery, action adventure, slice of life comedy, with occasional horror thrown in for kicks.
